Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake Was Cancelled By Activision!

Tony Hawk himself confirmed in a recent twitch stream with AndyTHPS, a developer who had worked on Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 confirmed that a Tony Hawks 3 + 4 remake was indeed in the works but after Vicarious Visions merged into Blizzard the game was cancelled.

Activision only seemed to trust VV games with the THPS 3 + 4 remake and went to other developers to get pitches for a brand new title in the Tony Hawks Pro Skater series but nothing seemed to work for Activision.

This is a real shame as fans were eagerly anticipating a remake of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 and 4 and from the sounds of it Tony Hawk himself was super excited. Hopefully once Microsofts acquisition of Activision Blizzard is done we could see the Tony Hawks Pro Skater series return with either a remake of 3 + 4 or even a brand new entry.
