In order to design the firefighting system, the following steps are very important:-
1. Selecting the correct Occupancy hazards for the building
2. Selecting the hydraulic area in the building using density-area curves
3. Hydraulic calculations, etc
In this video series, I have given lots of practical design issues which I faced during my journey has been added. Along with that lots of Firefighting articles, handbook references added which is useful for you to understand why NFPA 13 code book says this number.
For example, as per NFPA 13, For hydraulic area L= 1.2 times square root of sprinkler operation area. How this 1.2 comes from?. Like this, plenty of information has been added along with the calculation.
