It’s been a long time coming but the massively successful “Pokemon” franchise is finally making its way to the live action big screen with 2019’s “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu”.
The movie seems to be a big departure from the normal Pokemon stories about a lone trainer who journeys out into a world full of Pokemon, adventure, and danger but the look of the Pokemon themselves are actually pretty close to the source material.
