Create Address Points from parcel data in ArcGIS Pro

This is a geoprocessing exercise.
You have been given the task of changing polygon data to point data. Using a real-world example this video shows using existing data and change the format, rename the output result, and creation of a subset of data.

Open and load the parcel data, then go to the geoprocessing tools and type in 'Feature to point'. It's a geoprocessing interface which converts polygon data, in this example, and outputs the results as a point data while keeping the parcel data information. It creates the point based on a center of the polygon analysis and creates a point marker as a default output.
During the exercise, changing the name will make things easier to search. The results are saved in the default geodatabase configured with the project.
The important data result field to understand is the Assessor Parcel Number [APN]. It's used to identify the parcel as it's specific unique ID for use in building records and property taxation purposes. Many government permit requirements will need the result.
Creation of a point will be used for future addressing purposes and reverse geocode purposes for emergency use.

I've been working locally since 1999 performing daily GIS duties from Addressing to Zoning. Being a graduate of UC Santa Barbara in Geography helped influence my GIS studies and skills needed in my career. Trained in ESRI software with many certifications and also a former SWRCB Grade II in both Water and Wastewater, it's time to share my skills to other.
