England facing a new national lockdown | ITV News

England could be put under a new national lockdown as early as next week, new reports suggest.

Everything could be closed except essential shops and educations settings, such as nurseries, schools and universities, with the measures remaining in place until December 1, the Daily Mail and the Times reported.

The prime minister is expected to make an announcement on Monday in the hope measures could be eased by Christmas.
