What is a Dying Declaration? (Evidence Law)

"A man will not meet his Maker with a lie on his lips."

In court, "hearsay" (something you heard someone else say) is almost always banned. But there is one dark exception: The Dying Declaration.

If a victim names their killer in their final moments, the law treats those words as absolute truth. No oath required.

Legal Fact: This exception comes from the old belief that no one would dare lie right before facing judgment. Question: Do you think this law is fair, or is it too risky to trust without cross-examination? Debate in the comments!
