Massive red and white canyon walls, million dollar house boats, endless desert sunshine… Need I say more?

Boating on Lake Powell in Arizona (and Utah) was the perfect way to end our Arizona hiking trip.

We rented our power boat through Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas at Wahweap. While the customer service was subpar, the rental only cost us about $150 each for the day, which was by far the cheapest rental in the area.

(So worth it! Would have been even cheaper with more people.)

We were free to explore Lake Powell on our own, swimming and cruising through the epic canyons.

If you visit Lake Powell, you can’t miss boating through:

-Navajo Canyon (my favorite).
-Antelope Canyon.
-The ritzy house boat marinas.
