Artemis III Rocket Core Stage Delivered to NASA. #nasa #artemisiii #space

This footage shows NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) core stage arriving at Kennedy Space Center for the Artemis III mission. Built at the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, the massive stage traveled roughly 1,450 kilometers by barge before reaching Florida.

Once delivered, it’s transported into the Vehicle Assembly Building, where engineers will begin stacking and integrating it with other rocket components. The SLS core stage is the backbone of NASA’s most powerful rocket, designed to send astronauts back to the Moon and eventually support missions beyond.

What looks like a slow-moving structure is actually one of the most advanced pieces of engineering ever built. Every step — from manufacturing to transport — must be precise to ensure mission success.

This is how Moon missions begin… long before liftoff.

Would you want to see a rocket this big up close?
