GAMEBOY ADVANCE USB-C BATTERY FACE-OFF | Hand Held Legend vs. Retro Modding | Retro Renew

Hand Held Legend has co-developed a USB-C rechargeable battery mod for the GameBoy Advance with UK based RetroSix called CleanJuice. One of the main advantages is a battery with a larger capacity than its Retro Modding counterpart.

In today’s episode of Retro Renew, we’re going to take a closer look at the CleanJuice battery Pack from Hand Held Legend and RetroSix! In the retro handheld modding community there are two primary ways to add USB-C rechargeability and high capacity Li-Ion batteries to our Game Boy Advance consoles. With all the power hungry mods that are available for our GBA consoles nowadays, such as the IPS mod, we need better ways to power them! Let’s see how the Hand Held Legend USB-C battery mod stacks up to the competition!
