Coast To Coast on a Trek 520 - Day 61 - Stranded in Durango

Hey everybody, In this video I head out of Silverton Colorado and make my way over the final two passes in The San Juan National Forest. Molas Pass at 11,018 feet and Coal Bank Mountain at 10,640 were the only things standing in my way of a 30 mile downhill into Durango Colorado. This is my second trip Thru Durango. I ended my 2018 Colorado Trail Thru-Hike here. On my way into town I ran into some hot springs and mechanical issues. My paddle shifter broke just at Durango city limits. None of the local bike shops had what I needed or couldn't get it in a timely fashion. So I ordered one on Ebay and its just the waiting game. I plan on making the best of my time and seeing what Durango has to offer. Durango is home to The Animas River Trail, a seven mile long rail trail. There is plenty to do in Durango to keep me busy.
