DIY : How to Make a Super Bright Flashlight - Dewalt 20V Hack

How to make a powerful diy flashlight with a 18650 flashlight and a drill impact body? I'll show you how to make this lithium ion powered flashlight. This hack is crazy. I built this diy super bright flashlight and i'm going to show you how you can build one. Let's make this world most powerful flashlight!

I made it using a cordless impact that WAS NOT WORKING anymore. So instead of throwing in the garbage, i decided to recycle it into a powerful flashlight. I had a flashlight that was using 4x 18650 batteries and it was a pain to recharge the batteries so now with this hack my flashlight use a dewalt 20v batteries. This hack is genius.

First, some stats about my world brightest flashlight.

5 Modes : HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, STROBE, SOS. Total output of 30,000 "CHINA" lumens lol. Not sure about REAL lumens but it is very bright.

Belt hook included, YES!!

Draw 3.29A @ 3.72V ( 12.23 Watts ). Using 4.0Ah BAT (80Watts/H), you should have 5+ Hours runtime. I tested it for continuous use for 30 minutes without any problems, but the head of the flashlight gets very hot after about fifteen minutes. The silicone still hold the head of the flashlight in place. The small DC-DC step down board is from ebay, it says 5A max but don't go over 3.5A or the board will overheat very fast.
