How a Boberg XR9-S works

The Boberg XR9-S is the short version of the Boberg XR9, which only exists as a prototype. Dubbed the "Shorty", this pistol was designed by developer Arne Boberg to have similar ballistic characteristics as the Glock 26 , but with an overall length 30mm shorter. With an overall length of 130 mm, it has similar dimensions to the Kel-Tec P-3AT or the Ruger LCP , but has a barrel that is about 15 mm longer and a cartridge type that is about 1.8 times as powerful, namely 9×19mm instead of .380 ACP, which is metric 9×17 mm.
