How to get a job in Executive Protection

Getting a job in any market is tough and it is no different in Executive Protection. In this video I touch on the main points you will have to go through to get a job as an agent in the EP sphere.

1) Write yourself a resume and include a photo, clients and employers want to see who they are going to be working with ahead of time.

2) Apply to as many close protection (private security) firms in your area. Go scorched Earth and send it to as many folks as you can. Call the firms if necessary, but the point is get your resume out there.

3) In the interview, be respectful and dress appropriately. Interviewing a company is as important as them interviewing you. Be sure to have questions for them as well. Also, be prepared for scenario questions.

4) List any books, qualifications, certifications and relevant skills on your resume.
