Detached Chain Stitch, also known as Lazy Daisy Stitch, is loved a versatile stitch, loved by embroiderers around the world.

It can be used as a filling stitch, a border stitch, or to make flowers and butterflies.

Detached chain stitch is created very much like chain stitch, except each link is its own completed stitch.
