NITZE Cage For Sony A6000, A6100, A6300, A6400, A6500, A6600

Nitze has produced probably the best cage I have used for the a6000 series.

First of all why get a cage? What is the purpose of cages. Cages allow you to rig out your camera to help it perform the best possible mainly to add extra accessories that helps the filmmaking process.
Having a cage like this is also still great for photographers also. Having a bigger body can be handy and allow much better ergonomics while shooting.
For filmmakers this allows you to attach a top handle for low angle shots or a different bracing point to get stable shots.
It allows you to mount shotgun mics to a different location. Great for the a6400, a6600 and a6100 with the flip up screen so the mic doesn’t block the view from in front of the camera.
Even a base plate with rods for a focus puller. This is great for manual lenses when needing to focus a little more accurately and comfortably.
First point is the arca swiss plate. Bottom mounting plates are super handy for quick mounting onto tripods or gimbals that support the same arca swiss plate. You can go from a handheld rig to a gimble rig so much faster which can be crucial for people wanting to change shooting styles on the fly.
The nato rail on top is also very handy to have with changing shooting styles. Technically the top handle can also be mounted on the side for a side handle instead with the nato rail. It really depends on your shooting style.
