ED Cracks Down On Luxury Car Syndicate | Raids At Dulquer Salmaan, Mammootty Homes | News9

The Enforcement Directorate has intensified its probe into the Bhutan vehicle smuggling racket, conducting raids at 17 locations — including the homes of actors Dulquer Salmaan and Mammootty.
Investigators allege a cross-border syndicate used fake RTO registrations and hawala channels to import and sell high-end luxury cars like Land Cruiser, Defender, and Maserati at undervalued prices.
The ED suspects violations of FEMA sections 3, 4, and 8, with links to gold and drug smuggling under 'Operation Numkhor'.
