50L1400 backlight repair and LED current mod

This is an edge lit TV. The LEDs in this TV are driven with way too much current and fail prematurely.
This video shows how to replace the LEDs and lower the current driven through them. The LED driver is an OZ9998.

It is not one of the easiest repairs.
Not so common tools/materials needed are a hotplate and solder paste.
