Awakening the Chakras

Swami Satchidananda is asked about the chakras. He explains the nature of chakras and their relationship to enlightenment. He also cautions on the dangers of getting caught in the ego about trying to awaken the chakras and kundalini for the purpose of gaining siddhis, or spiritual powers. He reminds us that sincere seekers want to practice Yoga to realize the highest truth and to be of service, not to get side tracked by selfish desires.
