The Arrival of the Spaniards in Jamaica | Tainos in Jamaica | PEP - Grade 5 Social Studies

In this video students will learn about the first inhabitants of Jamaica; the first group of people and the arrival of the Spaniard to the Island. It will get a brief summary of when and where they came from to Jamaica.

Students will learn about what happened to the early inhabitants after the Spaniards came and why the Tainos disappeared from the Island. It will also explore aspects of their culture.
