WATCH: Ukraine Fires US-Made M270 Rockets at Russian Targets in Donetsk | APT

Ukrainian forces were filmed launching US-made M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) at Russian targets in the Donetsk region on December 9.

The footage shows rockets firing, the M270 maneuvering, and Ukrainian soldiers operating inside the armored system. The M270 is a highly mobile, heavy firepower platform capable of launching multiple guided and unguided rockets.

Ukraine first confirmed receiving the M270 systems in July 2022, though it did not disclose which allied country supplied them. The weapons have since played a role in Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities during the ongoing conflict.
