Trains at: Doncaster, ECML, 09/02/19

A very enjoyable evening spent at Doncaster on the East Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from London Northeastern Railway, Cross Country, Northern, East Midlands Trains, Hull Trains and Transpennine Express along with freight from DB Cargo UK.

Doncaster station was built in 1849 that was used to replace a temporary structure that stood on the sight a year previous. The station was rebuilt in 1938 to which we all know to this day. During its lifespan its had several small changes during its time but the most notable was in 2006 when a connection to the shopping centre was completed.

The most recent addition to the station was the construction of platform 0 which had been in construction since 2015.
