Picking the Right Neve Preamp for Kick Drum | BAE 1084 EQ Settings for Pro Bass Drum Sound

Which Neve Clones sound the best, and which ones sound the most "authentic"? Not all Neve clones are built the same and some will capture the classic sound better than others.

We are going to dig into different options you may see across the different brands and competitors to see what features you should be on the lookout for when picking up one of these Preamp and EQ channel strips.

The focus today will be on picking the right Neve clone for your bass drum/kick drum, with supporting sound samples. We'll even include some tips on using your first Neve on the bass drum.

As part of this comparison, we'll include a look at one of the high end clones, the BAE 1028. This is based on top of the BAE 1084/Neve 1084 model.
