Basics of lighting - Positioning Your Subject: OnSet ep. #286
Join Daniel Norton OnSet as he demonstrates how positioning your subject within the light you create is as important as the light placement itself. Even when working with large light sources that create soft beautiful light, you have many moods that can be created by simply stepping outside the norm of pointing the light directly at your subject. Whether you are using split lighting, feathered lighting, short lighting, or creating other patterns, the position of your subject can be a key factor in translating your concept to a finished image.
