Rebuilding well loved lamps part 1

In this video Rick starts the process of refurbishing two old pairs of abused carriage lamps. He demonstrates how to take the lamps apart, repair broken parts and replace parts that are beyond repair. Desoldering, dismantling, straightening, resoldering, cleaning and polishing are all demonstrated. By the end of this video the lamps will be ready for final assembly. Next week he will finish them up and send them back to the owner.
