[4k60/Binaural] Hiking Little Kachess Lake Trail (Partial) #VirtualHike

The campground at Kachess Lake is fairly large and easily accessible with concrete roads leading all the way to and through the campground. US Forest Service passes and Discovery Passes do not work here though for day-use, and requires a $8 fee in cash. The lake stretched on for what seemed like miles in both directions. As it's very narrow, you're able to hear all sounds across the lake itself. There were several waterfalls I hoped to be able to see from the trail, but they never peeked out from the trees on the other side. Box Canyon Creek that splits the trail right at the trailhead had actually taken out the trail bridge before the season opened, so hikers found a log jam 1/4 of a mile following the creek. That's where you see our journey begin. On this slightly rainy Sunday afternoon, this location was a 5/10.
