Driving Around Baguio A Day After the Onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses

Typhoon Ulysses can be described as the most damaging typhoon that hit the Philippines this year. This typhoon wreaked havoc in the areas of North, Central, and Southern Luzon. At around midnight of November 12, 2020, the typhoon started to batter parts of the Cordillera region and its wrath was felt here in Baguio City.

The howling winds and the pouring rain caused landslides, trees, and electric posts being toppled. Which left most areas in the City to be left with no power. The typhoon continued its onslaught the whole day of November 12, 2020, and the rains just stopped after it exited the landmass of Luzon.

According to reports several families were evacuated in Baguio City, however, it is a blessing that no fatality was recorded in Baguio City. In this drive, we thought of going to some parts of Baguio City to see how some areas are doing after the typhoon. We are glad that residents and those employed by the local government are conducting clean up in the areas we visited.
