Belarusian Opposition Leader Detained Before Rally
Prominent Belarusian opposition leader Mikalay Statkevich was detained on his way to a rally in the capital, Minsk, on May 31. A video posted on social media shows men in plainclothes and face masks as they stopped a car in which Statkevich was sitting next to the driver.
