Installing Water Lines and Spigot - New water system for our horse stalls!
Over the last couple days we have been running water lines with pex pipe in our barn to help set up an efficient water system to fill our horses water troughs. While we were working on the water line install we realized we needed to change out our water spigot in the barn as well. All of this took us only 3 to 4 hours to fully install and turned out perfect for our needs. We ran pex line over head from our valve system we built out of galvanized steel and brass valves. We ran everything over head with a slope to all the lines so that when they are disconnected all the water will drain out to help avoid cracked pipes when the temperature gets below freezing. To help with easy removal of our lines we use quick disconnects that attached quickly to our spigot located inside our barn. If you watch long enough you'll get to meet our horses and see some of the process.
