We are moving from a world of "prove it" to "get it into my hands now." To stay competitive, engineers need a way to solve harder problems without sacrificing the trust they have in their traditional solvers.

Augmenting the Physics-Based Solver :
One of the most profound technical insights in this discussion is that ai physics is not a replacement for traditional solvers; it is a high-speed accelerator for them.

• Initial Condition Generation : Traditional cfd simulation often starts with a "potential flow" or a simplified initial state, which the solver then iteratively resolves. This is time-consuming. By using a pre-trained ai physics model, engineers can generate a highly accurate initial state in milliseconds.

• The Residual Loop : Because the AI-generated initial state is so close to the final solution, the numerical solvers (like Cadence Fidelity) only need to resolve the final residuals. This hybrid approach ensures that the final "sign-off" comes from a trusted, physics-grounded engine, but at a fraction of the time.

• Trust Through Validation: By combining AI with a trusted solver like Cadence Fidelity, engineers get the "best of both worlds"—the speed of AI and the validated accuracy required for product design in safety-critical industries.

The Rise of the Autonomous Agent :
The conversation explores how agentic ai is removing the "mundane" from the engineering cycle:

1. Planning & Orchestration: Long-running autonomous agents like Nemoclaw are now capable of managing complex, iterative workflows that used to take months.
