VW Crafter Reverse Camera Fix / HOW DID THIS NOT CATCH ON FIRE !! /

Today we have in a 2024 Volkswagen Crafter for a suspected faulty reverse camera.
The customer mentioned when hitting the camera it made it come to life so we suspected a broken wire.
With this being a camper conversion we went straight to inspecting the camera wiring and found a bodged up plug, of course this could have been like this way before the conversion, who knows?
But it was a very dangerous repair with 3 bare wires all touching each other.

Fault found, new camera fitted and working.
