Flooded Hawkesbury River at Wiseman's Ferry | 7NEWS

The heavy rain has eased across New South Wales, but the damage from the weather system is only starting to become apparent.

A 7NEWS crew was out with NSW SES volunteers on swollen waterways which are littered with debris at Wisemans Ferry.

And, there are still evacuation orders being issued to people across NSW. Parts of Western Sydney were spared after less rain fell than expected. Still major flooding continues and there's more rain to come over the weekend.

The weather bureau is warning another cold front will sweep through our state tomorrow morning, bringing more wild weather.
