is an American television series aired between November 3, 1978 and May 4, 1985 on the NBC network.1 It starred Gary Coleman2 and Todd Bridges as Arnold and Willis Jackson, two African-American children from Harlem who are taken in by a wealthy businessman named Phillip Drummond (played by Conrad Bain) and his daughter Kimberly (Dana Plato) .During the first season and part of the second, Charlotte Rae played the role of the mistress of Keys to the Drummonds, Mrs. Edna Garrett (character who had her own comedy, The Facts of Life).
