Anti-war Encampment at USC Cleared in Early Morning LAPD and DPS Operation

Between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, the USC Department of Public Safety and Los Angeles Police Department cleared the remaining protestors from the Divest from Death encampment in Alumni Park.

During the police operation, officers tried to restrict Annenberg Media reporters to a staging area far away from Alumni Park and threatened to confiscate their press passes.

USC President Carol Folt and LAPD confirmed that no arrests were made. The University Park Campus is back open to students, faculty and staff after being closed early Sunday morning.
