How to Mix Eco-Friendly B&W Film Chemistry (EcoPro/Xtol)
Hey guys! This is how I mix my black and white film negative chemistry, as from LegacyPro's EcoPro Developer and Neutral Fixer. I like these chemicals from LegacyPro because they are of quite low toxicity and are about as eco-friendly as you can get with film chemistry currently available (we'll talk about Caffenol another day). The developer seems to be a clone of Kodak's Xtol developer. All that said, I'm not (yet) sponsored by LegacyPro or Kodak.
It should be a very similar process with different types of b&w developers/fixers, but with just different mixing ratios.
You'll need:
-EcoPro Developer and Fixer
-Three gallons of distilled water
-Two 1-gallon bottles with screw lids
-Two 1-liter bottles with screw lids
-Two funnels
-A bucket with liter markings
-Spoon/stirring utensil
-Gloves
