Klitschko-Briggs Gym Showdown

Unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and the last U..S. heavyweight champion of the world Shannon Briggs nearly made a fight between them a reality much sooner than expected in South Florida early this morning. Klitschko was having an open media workout when Briggs stormed in. Briggs wanted to resend the message that he is still in pursuit of a fight with Klitschko. Words were exchanged and apparently Briggs didn’t like what Klitschko had to say. Briggs then stormed into the ring where Vlad’s hands were already wrapped as were Briggs’ who was working out in the same gym. The two were face to face where it looked like at any moment it was going to go down. Former heavyweight champion of the world Michael Moorer broke the two apart to prevent it from going any further.
