How To | Crochet Faux Locs - Perfect Winter Protective Style!

In this video, I go over how I prep my hair for protective styling and how I install crochet faux locs. This style is very easy to do and it is very lightweight and safer on your hair than actual faux locs because it doesn't cause nearly as much tension on your scalp and is much more lighter and gentler. I simply braid the roots and twist the rest my hair in individual braids and wrap the crochet locs around the individuals. I get the opportunity to fulling moisturize my hair as I generously coat each individual in shea butter prior to installing the crochet locs! I love this simple style because it allows me to leave my hair alone for atl east a month while being able to wear this cute style!
