Build a Custom Sofa Table // DIY

I built a custom console / side table from some cast iron legs from an old screw machine lathe from the Garvin Machine Co. NY, and used some leftover rough cut 2x6 western red cedar to make a table top.

The cast iron legs are from the 1890's or 1900's. I stripped the paint, and re-painted them a military green color with a high gloss.

For the top, I made a 3ft long by 2ft wide tabletop, and finished it with amber shellac.
