Bach: Chaconne | Colin Carr, Cello

"Why on Earth would a cellist want to get up and play the Bach Chaconne?" asks renowned cellist Colin Carr, before answering his own question and then performing a spellbinding version of the fifth and final movement of Bach’s solo Violin Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004. This 2011 performance was captured at a Heifetz Celebrity series concert at Anderson Hall in Wolfeboro, NH, in the summer of 2011.
