Travel Assist Roadtrip - VW ID.3 1st Max - | Ep 27

Just before the new year, I took the car out to test and show you the Travel assist system in the ID.3 Max as it is with the original software that was shipped with the car. It's a long video, but you will very much see how it works (and not works) throughout a city, on the highway and on smaller roads. It gets dangerous when I reach som very icy road...

Summarized:
- Works almost perfectly on highways and longer stretches (I use it on almost every drive I take)
- Do not trust the system completely
- Be ready with the brake pedal in the city and when approaching roundabouts
- Do NOT use it when conditions are far from optimal (VW says so as well)
- Sign reading and maps are inconsistent and less than perfect - but mostly works (but it can be dangerous)
