Cutting boards with the Hadden Lumber Maker #1

WOW This was a lot of work. I had to sharpen the teeth on the chain to 10 degrees and shave a little of the scrapers to get the saw to cut. I think I will get a new chain and get it ground just for rip cutting.

It seems that a lot of people want to see the chain saw cut the boards. It is a chain saw cutting wood, it is loud and dusty. Ripping the wood length wise is not easy work. But it is just a saw cutting the boards.

I made this video to show how to set up the boards to make straight cuts.

Oh and for the rest of you idiots it is 2"X4" and 2"X6"!
