No, nothing with the baby per se. It's more... me.

No, I'm freaking out. I don't think that I'm going to be able to breastfeed.

No.... it's just.... the more and more that the doctor keeps talking about it and people keep showing me all these brochures with pictures of "latching on" and all that. I just don't think I can do it.

Why? It's actually a wonderful experience.

Yeah, people keep saying that but it doesn't really sound that wonderful. I'm even uncomfortable with Will going there with his mouth much less a little person.

Well, that's because you haven't felt the need to bond yet.

Seriously? I'm basically a giant alien pod for him, I think we have bonded enough.

Yup, and I think that I like the shape of my nipples as is.

Wait, what? What does that have to do with anything?

Well, I was researching, and there were several women that said their nipples got bigger and kind of stretched out because of it.

There's always pumps. You could just pump out the milk and feed the baby that way.

Yeah, but then I have that weird feeling... you know?

I don't know.

You know... what guys do with pumps...

Oh gosh Michaela, you aren't trying to get bigger! Seriously, once the baby comes you will see it and immediately feel that need; some people just need to see that it's real.

I don't know. I think my maternal instincts were lost when my mom accidentally dropped me.

Haha. I remember that story. You bit her while she was breast feeding you, maybe you're just scarred from that.
