Why Bridgerton's Underwear is Wrong

Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!

I've been going on mini-rants on Instagram to do with corsets, underwear and period dramas, so I thought I would collect those thoughts into a short video here. The recent trigger for these thoughts was watching Bridgerton, the new Netflix Regency based show. I thought it was worth highlighting some of the ways the show depicts Regency underwear and how this affects the portrayal of women, and our perception of historical underwear.

Sorry if it seems a bit disjointed! I had a lot to say but didn't want to stray too much off topic. I have been thinking/researching a lot for a while to do with historical underwear, so I'm sure the topic will come up again 😂
