Old Rusty Broken Padlock – Restoration Project. ASMR Video

Old broken rusty padlock Restoration. I found this old, broken, rusty padlock using a metal detector at the site of an old house that was destroyed during World War I. This small padlock may have once been used for a jewelry chest. I decided to restore it.

I removed the rust and managed to open the padlock. Inside, a mystery awaited me — part of the locking mechanism was missing. I had to figure out how the mechanism worked in order to bring this 200-year-old padlock back to life.

Now the lock works. I’ve preserved the old iron to protect it from further corrosion. I hope you enjoyed this restoration video.
