Because someone made a texture pack about that. A walking gun, which can also talk and sell you some guns as well, and act just like the Arms Dealer. Except he is now a gun. A gun that sells and shoots gun. Logical, gotta say. There are other packs does similar thing: No, they don't turn Merchant into bags of coin or whatever: Still, they do something that could have been true... but not really.
