10M COVID Cases, 241K Deaths, SCOTUS Hears Case That May End ACA For Millions As Trump 'Unwinds' It

As of Wednesday there were 10.4 million cases of coronavirus in the United States and 241,000 Americans have died.

In spite of the continued spread of this deadly virus, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments to end the Affordable Care Act.

23 million people have health insurance as a result of Obamacare which is critically important during the pandemic. President-elect Joe Biden has made it clear that health care is a top priority for his administration.

In order to manage our healthcare crisis, we need to address number of issues that affect health outcomes particularly in underserved communities. Attorney Daniel Dawes who was instrumental in shaping the Affordable Care Act spoke with Roland Martin about the importance of the ACA in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and Republican attempts to end it.
