Fort Parker: Texas History Road Trips

A look at the history of Old Fort Parker (near Groesbeck, Texas), where Comanches attacked the Parker family of settlers and kipnapped Cynthia Ann Parker. She would go on to accept the Comanche way of life, and her son Quannah would be one of the last great war chiefs- as well as the peace chief who helped lead his people as they were finally forced onto the reservation.
