"Pokémon Stadium" is a strategy video game for the Nintendo 64, developed and published by Nintendo. The game centers around 3D turn-based battles featuring Pokémon from the first generation of Pokémon games (Red, Blue, and Yellow versions). Players can import their Pokémon from these games using the Transfer Pak accessory or use the rental Pokémon provided in the game.

The main mode, Stadium Mode, consists of four cups with varying rules and difficulties, where players battle through a series of trainers to win trophies. In addition to this, the game features a Gym Leader Castle mode, where players challenge the gym leaders from the Kanto region and ultimately face the Elite Four and the Champion.

"Pokémon Stadium" also includes a variety of mini-games and a Free Battle mode for casual play. The game was notable for its advanced graphics and the ability to see Pokémon battles in 3D for the first time. It was released on April 30, 1999, in Japan and later in other regions.
