We are thrilled to announce that the Nexar API has reached an incredible milestone—its first anniversary!
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Your feedback has helped us make the API what it is today, inspiring us to make the improvements we share with you here.
1. New Evaluation Model for the API:
In the coming weeks, we will implement an improved model for evaluating Octopart data via the API. All organisations will receive an automatically created Evaluation App, allowing an easy path to trying out our API.
Individuals registered with personal email addresses will automatically receive up to 100 match parts via their evaluation app.
However, if you provide us with your company email address, you will receive up to 1,000 matched parts via the app, allowing you to utilise the API even more extensively.
2. Growth of Nexar Community:
Your comments and trust in our ability to transform your operations are greatly appreciated.
9000+ organisations have registered
100+ million API calls completed since the launch
500,000+ daily API calls in the last 90 days
We recently launched the "meet the API user" program. If you want to join our program, please email us at api@nexar.com. We would love to share your story with our community.
3. An Improved Nexar Portal Experience:
We are committed to improving everyone's experience when using the API. Our portal is a key pillar of this, and we are making a few changes in the coming weeks:
Streamlining the onboarding process by automatically creating an evaluation app to help you deliver value through the API
The API playground will be updated with an extensive selection of example queries to ensure you can quickly see what the API offers
Enhanced information on how to use the API to access design data from Altium 365
Our portal now has a more streamlined interface and some quality-of-life improvements, including the ability for self-service customers to view invoices online.
As we move forward and continue to invest in and grow, our focus remains on providing the best possible experience and maintaining the highest standard of services you expect from Nexar.
