Limit Switch Reset Procedure for Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota & Lexus Anti-Pinch Window Motors

Detailed how-to video on resetting the window lift motor limit switch on Nissan/Infiniti and Toyota/Lexus vehicles equipped with anti-pinch capabilities listed below:

Instructions:
1) Remove the cover panel and remove the window lift motor from the regulator while keeping the motor connected to the electrical connectors (1:13)
2) Lift the window control switch for 10 sec as if raising the window (1:22)
3) After 10 sec release the window switch (1:27)
4) Install the motor into the regulator using the window control switch (1:32)
5) Install the cover panel and ensure that the wire harness for the motor is tied down (1:43)
6) Lift the window control switch to fully lift the window and releasing when the window reaches the top(1:55)
7) Lower the window completely to reset the ring gear mechanism and hold the switch down manually (2:01)
8) Repeat the raising and lower of windows 3 times (2:07)
9) Lift the window using the auto up feature (2:12)
**If the window bounces the travel time was not set properly
**Repeat the process to try again

Anti-Pinch Function Test:
1) Lower the window completely using the auto down feature (2:34)
2) Test by allowing the window to close on a cardboard paper towel roll using the auto up feature (2:38)
**Window should stop and reverse 3-4 inches after contacting paper towel roll.
**Repeat test 3 times to verify functioning motor
