Landscape Photography | Nearly a good morning in the Yorkshire Dales

My 2nd trip in Maddie & I have to admit ,it's the best decision I've made in a while , having the freedom of not being tied to arriving at digs by a specific time or trying to put the tent up when it's cold & wet . I'll also admit it still feels a little weird 😂
I headed off after work on the friday & arrived on location around 10.30pm , the frost warning showed on the dash so I was rather glad of the heater !
The Yorkshire Dales is a totally new area for me so my plan was to explore a little & find locations to revisit in better conditions....I really fancy a lovely misty damp day or a frosty snowy day......don;t ask for much do I 😮
Sunrise didn't look to promising but as it was a new location for me I wasn't overly concerned .
A couple of okayish images , a mooch about the area & a few ideas should I decide on a return trip at some point was my plan for the weekend .
One thing I did discover is a possible issue with my 10-20 Sigma lens .On closer inspection of the image I can see a blurry area lower lefthandside .Now , it is possible it was caused by wind moving the grasses but I doubt it . I thought it might be a smudge on the filters but it isn't there on the images taken with the 17-55mm lens. The lens looks clean enough so I may need to send it away & get a professional opinion. It was purchased 2nd hand & to be fair I've never really gelled with it so maybe it's time to bite the bullet & get a different ultra wide angle lens . Hey ho ...who needs money anyway 😂
